By the End of This Course, You Will Be Able To:

  • Recognize when botulinum toxin came to be used as a cosmetic treatment
  • Identify facial muscles responsible for specific facial expressions
  • Identify appropriate muscles and areas to inject with neuromodulators to accomplish desired results
  • List neurotoxins with Health Canada approval
  • Identify Hyaluronic Acid fillers with Health Canada approval
  • Identify advantages, disadvantages, and indications for use of Hyaluronic Acid fillers
  • Identify factors affecting Hyaluronic Acid filler performance
  • Identify different injection techniques for neuromodulators and Hyaluronic Acid fillers
  • Identify possible errors and strategies to address these in a timely and safe manner
  • Identify proper safety protocols before, during, and after injections
  • Identify good consultation principles, including how to complete consultation forms and take clinical photographs
  • Identify principles that contribute to an aesthetically pleasing face
  • Identify steps for achieving aesthetically pleasing outcomes using techniques with low adverse effects
  • Identify continuing education options and advanced training opportunities to further enhance skills and develop expertise
Upon completion of the course, participants will be required to pass final quizzes for both sections to receive a certificate of completion.

In 2006, she founded Cerilean Medical Inc. to support and train the medical aesthetic community. Vicki has treated patients across North America and is a sought-after educator for universities, aesthetic training organizations, pharmaceutical and laser companies, and private medical practices throughout Canada, the United States, and Mexico. She is also a clinical instructor with the University of Alberta’s School of Dentistry Continuing Education program.

Guided by a lifelong love of art, Vicki is passionate about blending art and science to achieve natural, refined results.
